The festive menu includes Pomorye kozh, Karelian kalittos, Altai kocho, and what not.
The impressive program of the festival “Day of National Unity” will unfold in 30 venues in Moscow from November 2 to 4 to introduce all comers to the creativity, traditions, and cuisine of the peoples of Russia. In eight cooking schools of the festival, participants will have a chance to try and learn cooking national dishes of the Russian regions.
The restaurant chalet in 17, Shkolnaya Street will focus on the national recipes of the Khabarovsk Territory. It will offer waffles with rainbow trout from the rivers of Kamchatka and the reservoirs of the Sea of Okhotsk.
In 52, Pererva Street, visitors will taste the dishes that the Arkhangelsk Region is famous for, such as Pomorye fish soup and kozh, i.e. jelly made from northern berries. Visitors to the cooking master classes in Revolution Square will savor pumpkin and pine nut tortillas from the Oryol Region, meat and potatoe ballesh pie from Tatar cuisine, and open berry pies from Karelian cuisine.
