November 23 will see the organ, bagpipes and drums playing together under the arches of the ancient Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral in Moscow.
The gala concert will feature traditional Celtic melodies performed by the City Pipes piper band and organist Ivan Ipatov.
This concert in the Lutheran Cathedral in Moscow is symbolic. Despite the worldwide tendency to disunity, music has always retained the opposite power of unifying and creating. This effect is enhanced by the tones of these world music instruments that rarely come together but nevertheless are harmoniously combined here, creating a unique music palette.
Combining the tradition and an innovative approach to music is the motto of the performing musicians.
