Come and see unknown artworks by Ivan Kramskoy, Isaac Levitan, Lev Lagorio and other famous Russian artists of the Itinerants (aka Wanderers) Association.
As part of the project “Tretyakov Gallery is Opening its Vaults”, the museum presents the exhibition “Unknown Itinerants. Drawings of the Second Half of the XIX Ñentury” with pencil drawings and watercolors by renowned Russian Itinerants. These artworks highlight new aspects of famous masters’ creativity. Thus, for example, you will discover Ivan Kramskoy as an amazing colorist, who created super delicate watercolor landscapes.
The exposition also includes drawings and watercolors by Isaac Levitan, Lev Lagorio, Alexey Bogolyubov, Fedor Vasilyev, Valentin Serov, Vasily Surikov, Ivan Shishkin, and other famous Russian Itinerants.
