Russians most often save money on holidays, leisure and treatment. Almost half of the respondents - 46% - told that they were saving on vacation. 29% of respondents try not to spend money on visits to the theatre and cinema, 27% save on medicines (their number has increased by 5% over the past five years).
Besides, the number of Russians who want to save on education — their own and their children’s — has also grown. “In 2015, 6% of Russians told they saved money on education of children and the same percentage saved on education adult family members, this indicator made up 4% for each group in 2018, and 10% and 9% in 2019, respectively”, as the experts of the analytical centre said.
