Azbuka Vkusa chain of stores launches the sale of artificial meat produced by the American Beyond Meet Company.

Beyond Meet is one of the most famous vegetable meat producers in the world: the company produces it from pea protein and other ingredients.

A two cutlet package for burgers by Beyond Meet will cost 750 roubles in Azbuka Vkusa. According to experts, the cost of alternative meat made by the American company is about three thousand roubles per kilogram – the cost of a kilogram of marbled beef or premium lamb meat is approximately the same. Vegetable meatballs will be sold in 29 stores of the Azbuka Vkusa chain. The retailer plans to sell about 1,000 packages per month.
