Turkish-American venture capital fund StartersHub plans to support 60 high-tech startups from Russia and Eastern Europe over the next four years. The fund will offer companies investment and mentoring, the most successful projects will be able to enter the global market.
StartersHub’s own model of cooperation provides for several stages: during the first stage, “monitoring”, startups get help to optimize the business, team and project, and also are provided with investments in the amount of 25-50 thousand dollars. After that, projects may qualify for additional investments of up to $ 250 thousand.
This type of full and consistent mentoring is absent in the region and the start-up ecosystem in Russia and Eastern Europe urgently needs it.
