The VIII open festival of snow-ice sculptures "Magic Ice of Siberia" opened in Krasnoyarsk.

20 teams from Lithuania, Belarus, China and Russia take part in the competition program of the festival. Among the Russian participants are masters from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Perm, Yekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk and other cities. The competition will be held in two categories - “Snow” and “Ice”.

Among the presented sketches there are quite complicated compositions from ice and snow. For example, the Chinese team will create a beautiful composition “The Art of Conquering Dragons”, the team from Perm plans to make a real art object “Milk Rivers - Jelly Shores”. There will also be a fantastic sculpture "Sea Horse" with many elegant elements, and the authors of the composition "Yenisei" will try to present an artistic image of the river.

Festival participants will create their works on the embankment of the Yenisei River, regardless of weather conditions, and residents and guests of the city will be able to watch everything. The competition will last until January 18.

The open festival-competition of snow-ice sculptures "Magic Ice of Siberia" has been held in Krasnoyarsk since 2013.
