A large-scale exhibition project combines the works of Spanish artists of the 19th — 20th centuries from museum and private collections.
The Museum of Russian Impressionism, Moscow, welcomes you to see paintings by 18 Spanish artists of the XIX — XX centuries, who worked side by side with the French Impressionists.
Visitors will see paintings by Joaquin Sorolla, Ignacio Suolagi, Ramon Casas and other outstanding artists. Guitarists, gypsies, fishermen, mountain landscapes, southern streets, medieval architecture – all those images convey the special flavor of Spanish painting.
Here you will see more than 50 paintings, drawings and sculptures from leading museums and private collections of Spain. Two paintings were provided by the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts.
The exhibition is held with the participation of the Aurea Cultura i Art Culture Foundation and the support of the Embassy of Spain to Russia.
