Rosstat reported a decrease in the share of small and medium-sized businesses in the economy.
Rosstat recorded a decrease in the share of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Russian economy, RBC reports. According to the department, in 2017 it amounted to 22% of GDP, and in 2018, the indicator dropped to 20.2%. Rosstat will publish data for the year 2019 at the end of this year. In 2018, GDP at current basic prices was about 93.6 trillion rubles. Accordingly, small and medium-sized businesses accounted for about 19 trillion rubles.
Recall that in the national project “Small and medium-sized enterprises” the target indicator is 32.5% by the year 2024. The national project also provides that, according to the results of 2020, the share of small and medium-sized businesses in GDP should be 23.5%, and by the end of 2019, the indicator should be 23.5%.
