Cruises along the Northern Sea Route for Russian tourists will appear in 2021, two expedition ships will be built for this.

In 2021, expedition tours in the Arctic and Antarctic on the Konstantin Khlebnikov icebreaker in the summer will be launched. Two expedition ships are already under construction and the icebreaker rental agreement is at the final stage.

Cruises will pass along the Northern Sea Route and around Franz Josef Land. The issue of using light helicopters to make the tour program richer is also being explored. In 2022, two more new expeditionary vessels with a capacity of 150 people will be added to the icebreaker, which are now being built at a shipyard in Finland.

In 2020, cruises on the Yenisei river will be launched on the Maxim Gorky motor ship. Vodokhod shipping company is a major Russian river cruise operator. The annual volume of transportation by the cruise fleet is 105 thousand people.
