The Russian dating service Mamba will invest more than one million dollars in entering the Turkish market in 2020.
Mamba Marketing Director Peter Boytsov called Turkey one of the most priority directions of the service; previously, the company managed to successfully scale in Israel. “Turkey with its population of 80 million is a priority market for us, since the country's mobile communications density is 99%, and the rate of growth in annual mobile app installations is a double-digit number”, as Boytsov said. The service is planning to enter the top 3 of dating apps by the number of downloads by the end of this year. Now this segment in Turkey is dominated by Tinder, Happn, Jaumo and others.
