Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, head of the operations headquarters Tatyana Golikova said that it was decided to stop air communication with South Korea by all companies except Aeroflot and Aurora. “From March 1, we stop all air communication with South Korea by companies other than Aeroflot and Aurora. Aurora will operate on a charter until all our citizens are transported,” Golikova said at a briefing in Moscow on Wednesday. According to her, Aeroflot will fly from South Korea to Moscow, arrivals will pass through terminal F Sheremetyevo.
Golikova said that in relation to Italy, since it is a part of the European Union, introducing restrictive measures is “quite difficult”.
Starting February 28, a ban will also be introduced on the issuance of transit visas from Iran, as well as on the issuance of ordinary visas to Iranian citizens, except business and humanitarian ones. Arrivals from Iran will also pass through terminal F Sheremetyevo.
According to the latest data,the number of people infected with coronavirus in the world exceeded 80 thousand people, more than 2.7 thousand infected died.
