The Russian Travel Market can Grow by 9.4% - Up to $ 45.65 Billion

According to the results of 2020, the Russian travel market can grow by 9.4% - up to $ 45.65 billion.

It is expected that the online segment will grow by 12.7% this year and that in the future it will still be ahead of the offline segment in terms of growth (it is predicted that offline growth will make up 6.9%), but will not have overcome it by 2024. It is expected that by this date the offline segment will become blurred from 57% to 53.1%. However, online growth will also slow down: this trend is already noticeable - in 2018 the segment grew by 25%, and in 2019 - only by 20%. According to the experts, the stable dominance of offline tourism is explained by business tourism and organized tours.
