Government wants to introduce tax breaks for business due to coronavirus. The Russian government has developed a draft anti-crisis plan to support the economy in connection with the spread of a new type of coronavirus infection, according to Vedomosti. Among the measures proposed are the creation of an anti-crisis fund, compensation for the income of quarantined people and tax holidays for businesses.
It is estimated that the volume of the anti-crisis fund will amount to 300 billion rubles - they will be allocated by optimizing budget expenditures. According to one of the sources of the publication, a federal official, these funds will not be used to implement the entire plan, but will be a separate item of expenses. It is proposed to introduce tax holidays for certain industries - in particular, tourism and air travel. This list may be expanded further.
