UEFA officially postponed the Euro 2020 to 2021.

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has decided not to host the 2020 European Championship this summer, according to the official Twitter of the Euro 2020 in St. Petersburg.

"Officially, the European Championship has been postponed to the summer of 2021. It will be held from June 11 to July 11," the report said.

The decision was made at a meeting of representatives of 55 national football federations that are members of UEFA. The matches of the European Championship 2020 should be held in 12 cities, including St. Petersburg, where three matches of the group stage and a quarterfinal match are planned.
