Russia will introduce tax holidays for a number of industries. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin instructed the Federal Tax Service to provide "holidays" in the payment of taxes and insurance premiums for taxpayers working in the field of physical education and sports, as well as art, culture and cinema, the press service of the government said.
The prime minister’s order specifies that the deferral applies to taxes and insurance premiums, the due date of which is paid until May 1, 2020. Earlier in March, it became known that the Association of Cinema Owners sent a letter to Mishustin with a request to provide state support to the industry because of the situation with coronavirus.
