Russian Railways OJSC (Russian Railways) cancels the Lastochka trains on the routes Krasnodar - Anapa and Rostov-on-Don - Krasnodar-Tuapse from April 7 to 29.
In addition, from April 7, the movement of long-distance trains at the SKZD training ground is also temporarily canceled. In particular, trains N381 / 382 Grozny-Moscow, N301 / 302 Grozny-Volgograd, N213 / 214 Saratov-Rostov-on-Don are canceled.
The adjustment of the train schedule is due to the passenger’s lack of ability to plan and organize their trips amid an unfavorable epidemiological situation. Russian Railways Holding notes a significant decrease in the load of long-distance trains.
To ensure the continuity of railway communication with small settlements, additional stops will be introduced for transit trains running on canceled routes. If there are no other trains on the route and it is impossible to offer an alternative option for railway communication, the trains are preserved.
If the situation improves and demand for passenger transportation improves, Russian Railways will immediately restore the route network in full, and if necessary, increase the supply for passengers.
