Authorities of the Murmansk Region imposed restrictive measures on Friday in the Kandalaksha, Tersky, Lovozero and Pechenga districts.

Entry restrictions will be valid till April 17 inclusive. To comply with the regime, checkpoints are deployed at the entrance.

Residents of these areas, regardless of age, must follow self-isolation. It will be possible to enter the territory of these areas by permanent or temporary registration. Entry is allowed by state and emergency services, as well as under contracts with local legal entities.

Earlier, residents of the Tersky, Lovozersky, Kandalakshsky and Pechenga districts appealed to the regional authorities through social networks with a request for quarantine due to the increased flow of tourists.
