Museum of the Pacific Fleet creates a virtual tour of the submarine S-56 in Vladivostok.

Specialists are completing work on creating virtual tours of the Museum of the Pacific Fleet. Video recording for the subsequent digitization of materials is carried out on the S-56 museum submarine. Museum staff work with the support of the military-political department of the Pacific Fleet. Virtual tours, recorded on digital media, will be transferred to the ships and to the coastal units of the fleet. This will allow military personnel getting acquainted with the sights.

A series of virtual tours in the halls of the Pacific Fleet Museum is also being created. New materials will be posted soon on the website of the military-historical museum of the Pacific Fleet.

The submarine C-56 took part in eight military campaigns
during the years of World War II, it won 14 battles, and damaged 14 enemy transports. On the day of the thirtieth anniversary of Victory in World War II, the submarine C-56 was installed on the Ship Embankment in Vladivostok on the podium of Eternal Glory. Museum boat consists of seven compartments. From the 7th to the 4th compartment there is an exposition telling about the history of the creation of the Russian submarine fleet, as well as about the history of the submarine forces of the Pacific Fleet and the combat path of the submarine. From the 3rd to the 1st compartment, the equipment and mechanisms of the museum boat are stored in original form.
