Squirrels from Zheleznovodsk Resort Park Enjoy the Silence and Lack of People

Squirrels from Zheleznovodsk Resort Park enjoy the silence and lack of people.

The squirrel population in the main park of Zheleznovodsk grew in the absence of guests and residents of the resort during the period of self-isolation, the press service of the city administration reports.

In previous years, there were a lot of squirrels in the resort town in the Green Theater area and on the paths at the bottom of the Cascade Stairs of the park. Then, objects of trade appeared in the park, loud music played, and the animals went deep into the forest. Now there is silence again, the squirrels are back, according to a press release. The head of Zheleznovodsk, Evgeny Moiseev, instructed the ecology department to restore the sign “Caution! Squirrels!” and place feeders with seeds and nuts in the park.
