The Russian startup MyBuddy.ai, which is developing a virtual English tutor, has attracted investments from the Leta Capital fund, Rubase reports. The fund invested $ 1 million in the project, adding the fourth EdTech startup to its portfolio. The company is developing a virtual animation tutor for children; a distinctive feature of the project is the use of voice technology of artificial intelligence. Leta Capital's share in MyBuddy.ai is not disclosed.
The startup plans to direct the funds received to the development of the product, as well as to expand its global presence - in particular, MyBuddy.ai names Spanish-speaking countries as its priority.
