The Hermitage Museum and the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra have prepared a series of concerts “Beethoven in the Hermitage Online”.

      This year marks the 250^th anniversary since the birth of Ludwig van Beethoven. In honor of this date, the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra is giving a series of concerts. Surrounded with paintings by great masters, musicians will perform famous compositions, and you will watch this live from home online.

      Three concerts are planned in the cycle: in two, they will perform compositions for violin, arranged by Sergei Stadler for the chamber orchestra, and one will include overtures and fragments from the Prometheus ballet.
