The Hermitage Museum and the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra have prepared a series of concerts “Beethoven in the Hermitage Online”.

This year marks the 250th anniversary since the birth of Ludwig van Beethoven. In honor of this date, the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra is giving a series of concerts. Surrounded with paintings by great masters, musicians will perform famous compositions, and you will watch this live from home online.

Three concerts are planned in the cycle: in two, they will perform compositions for violin, arranged by Sergei Stadler for the chamber orchestra, and one will include overtures and fragments from the Prometheus ballet.
