Elementaree grocery delivery service has attracted investments from the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Bonduelle and a number of Middle Eastern partners, Vedomosti reports citing the fund. The total investment is five million dollars.
“The partnership with Bonduelle, a leader in the field of vegetable processing, will provide us with world-class quality and access to the latest food technology,” Olga Zinovieva, the founder of Elementaree, commented. The company plans to invest the raised funds in the development of its technological platform, expanding the range and increasing production capacity. In addition, in the next two years it is planned to launch a service in Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod and Novosibirsk.
Now Elementaree works only in Moscow and St. Petersburg. The service delivers food packages: products necessary for the preparation of certain dishes. The company was founded in 2014, and since then has shown double-digit growth rates annually.
