Lectures, documentaries and video tours from Kunstkamera, Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography are now available online.
As part of the new program, “The Kunstkammer Speaks and Shows,” the museum publishes links to ethnographic films on its social networks, shares lectures by ethnographers, anthropologists and archaeologists, and organizes virtual tours.
Walking virtually through the museum halls with a guide, you can learn about the Kathakali Theater and Samurai costumes, get to know the history of the first Russian observatory and the Academy of Sciences, take a look at the costume of a Chinese general and see personal belongings of Peter the Great.
The Kunstkamera also reminds that on the official website you can always find a virtual 3D tour through the museum halls and get access to books, articles and catalogs in the online library.
