Thanks to exhibits from the personal archives of the participants of the Great Patriotic War, you can learn the Russian history from home.
The online museum "Moscow – Caring for History" exhibits documents, letters, and persona paraphernalia that belonged to the participants of the Great Patriotic War and their families. In addition, the project gives you an opportunity to get acquainted with interactive maps and video chronicles, as well as the earlier secret archives of Russia’s FSB security agency of Moscow and the Moscow Region.
In total, the museum has about 7,500 exhibits. The virtual collection is based on the rarities brought by Muscovites from their personal archives throughout the year.
On the basis of front-line letters and memoirs, they made videos in which famous cultural figures recreate the atmosphere of the events of World War II.
See the project on the site at any time convenient for you.
