Moscow Vnukovo Airport has begun a phased exit from the regime imposed due to the coronavirus COVID-19 restrictions. Starting June 1, restrictions on the admission of citizens seeing off and meeting passengers will be removed. To ensure the safety of passengers, the airport proposed a number of measures.
Among the security measures are:
mandatory wearing of masks and gloves;
a ban on entry when detecting body temperature above 37 degrees;
increasing the frequency of apron buses to avoid crowding;
conducting regular disinfection of ventilation and air conditioning systems, increasing the frequency of cleaning the building;
daily medical monitoring of the health status of airport personnel;
the presence of special escort routes from the terminal of passengers upon detection of coronavirus.
Vnukovo reported that doctors, specialists from Rospotrebnadzor and the Ministry of Emergencies are on duty at the terminal around the clock. An airport detention center has been organized for the temporary stay of passengers with suspected COVID-19, who are not allowed to enter Russia.
