The Moscow City Court dismissed the defense’s complaint about the extension of the arrest for four former police officers who took part in the detention of the "Medusa" journalist Ivan Golunov. In March, the court extended the arrest of the accused until June 7, but the decision was appealed.

      “The appeals of the defense were dismissed, the decision of the district court was unchanged,” the court said. On June 2, the Basmanny Court is expected to consider an application by the TFR to extend the arrest of ex-policemen until September 7.
