An assessment of population immunity to the SARS CoV-2 coronavirus is planned in the three pilot regions, Rospotrebnadzor said. A seroepidemiological study (for the presence of antibodies to the virus in the blood) is planned for June in the territories of:
Khabarovsk Territory,
Tyumen
St. Petersburg.
The study will be carried out taking into account the recommendations of the World Health Organization with the participation of medical organizations of the regions. It is planned to include children from one year to 17 years old, as well as adults of six age groups (18–29 years old, 30–39 years old, 40–49 years old, 50–59 years old, 60–69 years old, 70 years old and older).
According to the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova, 650 thousand people have already been tested for antibodies in 46 regions, protective titers have been detected in 14% of them.
