Bicycle rental in Moscow will fall in price by 30% from June 18.
Starting June 18, the cost of bike rental in the city will be reduced by 30%, the deputy mayor of the capital, Maxim Liksutov, said in his column on the Unified Transport Portal of the capital on Tuesday.
“Moscow employers can stimulate the use of active travel methods for their employees, we will support and quickly respond to all initiatives on alternative mobility: the use of bicycles (from June 18 we will reduce the cost of renting city bicycles by 30% until the end of the season), we will continue to reconfigure pedestrian traffic lights, make parking spaces for cars and bicycles, set up land transport routes as conveniently as possible, build new metro and IDC stations, and wash and clean everything efficiently and intensively daily, regardless of the season and the situation in the city,” he wrote.
