Russia took the  50th place in the ranking of the best places for doing business, compiled by the International Institute for Management Development (IMD). Over the year, Russia dropped five positions in the list and took a place between Greece and Romania.

      When compiling a rating, four criteria are evaluated - economic indicators, infrastructure, government efficiency and business efficiency.

      The first place in the list was taken by Singapore, the second - by Denmark.  Switzerland closes the top three. The USA fell immediately to seven positions - from the third to the tenth place, China - to six: from 14th to 20th.
