Earlier, Sergei Sobyanin said that from this date museums and exhibition halls could reopen.

The State Tretyakov Gallery will open for visitors on July 3. All the museum buildings - in Lavrushinsky Lane, the Engineering Corps and the New Tretyakov Gallery on Krymsky Val - will open. Currently, the institution is undergoing repairs.

It is reported that on the same day the exhibition "Russian Fairy Tale, From Vasnetsov till Nowadays" will open in the West wing of the New Tretyakov Gallery. Besides, the exhibition "NOTFOREVER. 1968-1985" will open on July 7. It represents the second part of the trilogy, the first of which was the Thaw, and the final part will tell about the period of Perestroika. More than 500 paintings, sculptures and drawings from Russian and foreign collections, as well as movie fragments, performance documentation and archival materials will be presented.
