“The Russian Grand Prix is an important moment in our season, and we look forward to returning to Sochi in September,” the Formula 1 Executive Director Chase Carey said.
The stage in Russia in September was planned in the initial version of the season calendar, which was later changed due to the coronavirus pandemic. On July 5, after a four-month delay, the World Cup started in Austria.
