Turkey and Russia have agreed to resume flights from Wednesday, July 15, Turkish Anadolu news agency reported. "The authorities of Turkey and Russia have agreed to resume flights from July 15. The Russian Union of Travel Industry told Interfax-Tourism that some tour operators have already put up tour packages for sale with departures starting July 24. Some tours are offered on the basis of charter flights, some on the basis of regular flights of Turkish Airlines.
On Monday, Turkish Airlines announced that it plans to launch flights from Turkish airports to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don and Krasnodar in early August.
The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation declined to comment.
