Moscow authorities have denied rumors of re-imposing restrictions amid the coronavirus pandemic in the capital. Also, the regional government does not plan to close the factories and production of the city, as Deputy Mayor of Moscow Vladimir Efimov said.
“We have no plans to close the factories. The situation with the coronavirus in Moscow is stable. In any case, the city is ready for any scenario of the development of the situation, and we see no reason for the closure of enterprises and production facilities,” Mr. Efimov replied to a request from journalists to comment on rumors about new restrictions.
Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that the capital's authorities did not intend to return the self-isolation regime for citizens due to the spread of the coronavirus. He called the talk of new restrictions from September 15th rumors.
Since June, all restrictions imposed due to coronavirus have been gradually canceled in Moscow. At the moment, only the mask and glove regime and the ban on public events have not been canceled. At the same time, the mayor's office does not plan to hold mass events in the center in honor of the upcoming City Day.
