SWISS Airlines (part of the Lufthansa group) has resumed regular flights from Zurich to Moscow.
The first flight after the closure of air traffic between Russia and Switzerland was operated on Saturday from Zurich to Domodedovo, the Moscow airport. On the same day, the SWISS plane took off back.
According to the SWISS website, flights on the Zurich-Moscow-Zurich route will be operated once a week, on Saturdays.
The government headquarters for the fight against coronavirus allowed the resumption of regular passenger flights between Russia and Switzerland from August 15. Aeroflot also announced the restart of flights on the Moscow - Geneva route. Flights will be operated from Sheremetyevo once a week.
As reported, from August 1, carriers were allowed to fly from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don to London, Ankara, Istanbul and Zanzibar (Tanzania), from August 10 - to the Turkish resort cities of Antalya, Bodrum and Dalaman.
