Alexei Navalny Hospitalized in Omsk with Poisoning

Oppositionist Alexei Navalny fell ill on the plane during a flight from Tomsk to Moscow. After an emergency landing in Omsk, the politician was urgently hospitalized with poisoning. As TASS clarifies, the politician is in the toxic intensive care unit of the Omsk emergency hospital No. 1. Now Mr. Navalny is in a coma, he is connected to a ventilator.

      “We assume that Alexei was poisoned with something mixed into the tea. It was the only thing that he drank in the morning. Doctors say the toxin was absorbed faster through the hot liquid. Now Aleksey is unconscious,” Ms. Yarmysh wrote on Twitter.
