AliExpress Russia will hold a month of Russian fashion brands - the platform will provide informational support to companies selling their clothes there, Rubase reports. For a month, the company will talk about the Russian brands presented in the marketplace: among them are Varvara Zenina, Gloves Me, Botrois, Vse Maiki, etc.
“We know that this spring has seriously hit local businesses, especially small ones and especially in the fashion segment. We see how offline showcases of many favorite brands disappear. That being said, we are also seeing a growing demand for online shopping for clothing. During self-isolation, the range of our local sellers grew 1.5 times, and sales almost quadrupled. With this campaign, we want to support local businesses and introduce them to our wide audience,” Sergey Grechin, Commercial Director of AliExpress Russia said.
AliExpress will talk about Russian brands on its Instagram, and a special page with information about them will appear on the marketplace itself. The site also made a lookbook with images from Russian fashion companies.
