Sochi promises to ensure strict compliance with the sanitary and epidemiological requirements of Rospotrebnadzor at the Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix events.

      "This year Sochi is hosting Formula 1 for the seventh time, and the city has a proven algorithm of actions. In 2020, we need to strictly adhere to the sanitary and epidemiological requirements of Rospotrebnadzor and ensure the safety of people's health," the Mayor Alexei Kopaygorodsky told reporters. He stressed that the organizers of Formula 1 were taking serious measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.

      "Participants and organizers will be tested for COVID-19, and spectators will have daily thermometry at the entrance to the park," the mayor said. According to him, if the high temperature is detected, a person will be sent for examination to specially prepared medical institutions in the city.
