Research: Russians Do not Believe the Recommendations of Famous People

AliExpress Russia and Data Insight conducted a study on how Russians feel about product reviews, Inc.Russia reports. According to its results, buyers believe most of all the reviews of friends, and least of all - the famous people who advertise the product.

In addition, Russians trust the reviews of other buyers who have already tested the product, and professionals. They trust brand representatives and sellers less. Also, buyers do not trust the information on the manufacturer's website or on the marketplace - they  trust more the reviews and recommendations of experts and other users.

Almost all buyers (99%) read product reviews and many (67%) write them. Everyone's motivation is different: the majority (43%) just want to express their opinion, 31% expect to receive a bonus on their next purchase, and 24% get money for reviews.
