Moscow International Festival "Circle of Light" was canceled due to restrictions imposed in connection with the coronavirus. The organizers plan to host the event in 2021.
“With great regret we inform you that due to the continuation of the restrictive measures... it is not possible to hold the 10th Moscow International Festival Circle of Light in 2020. We will certainly please you with interesting ideas and a program prepared for the tenth anniversary festival in 2021,” the message on the festival website says.
269 thousand coronavirus infections were registered in Moscow. About 5 thousand people died, 227 thousand recovered. Since June 24, the daily increase in cases does not exceed 1 thousand.
The "Circle of Light" was first held in 2011. Every year, at the iconic facilities of the capital, multimedia shows of video projections, installations, dancing fountains and fire are presented. During the festival, an educational program of lectures and master classes from lighting designers is held.
