The Moscow Export Center (MEC) is accepting applications for free accounts on the world's leading marketplaces until October 10, mos.ru reports. Businesses can qualify for free premium Europages.com accounts, as well as virtual stores on eBay.com.
By the end of the year, it is planned to open 50 stores on eBay.
“This year, for the first time, a program has been launched to provide Moscow exporters with special conditions for placement on eBay.com. In addition, the number of free accounts provided with one of the leading e-commerce sites Europages.com has doubled this year. The epidemiological situation remains tense, restrictions on international traffic continue to operate, so the development of e-commerce opportunities remains relevant for Moscow companies,” Alexey Fursin, head of the Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development, commented on the campaign.
