Trade turnover between Russia and the European Union in January-August decreased by 24.5% compared to the same period last year. It amounted to $ 135.94 billion, according to Prime. Exports from Russia to the European Union fell by 31.1%, amounting to $ 85.793 billion, imports from the EU fell by 9.7%, to $ 50.146 billion.

      According to the Federal Customs Service (FCS) of the Russian Federation:

      trade between the Russian Federation and the United States decreased by 9.4%, to $ 15.733 billion;

with China  - decreased by 7%, to $ 65.455 billion;

with Belarus  - decreased by 20%, to $ 17.503 billion;

with Turkey  - decreased by 26.3%, to $ 12.959 billion;

with Ukraine - decreased by 41.5%, to $ 4.843 billion.

      Earlier, the head of the FCS Vladimir Bulavin said that foreign trade turnover in Russia in January-August 2020 fell by 16%. He added that the drop in trade turnover could not but affect the transfer of payments to the federal budget. It is difficult to assess further dynamics.

      The head of the FCS expects changes in the forecast task for customs revenues during the budget adjustment. The current forecast task for the customs service for 2020 is 5.484 trillion rubles.
