The authorities of the Moscow region will ban public events, including sports, from October 21. Exhibitions and museums will also be closed. According to the Governor's decree, the restrictions are valid until November 7.

As the head of the region noted, sports training and games will continue without the participation of spectators. The Governor also instructed members of the regional government to work out recommendations to limit weddings, anniversaries and other entertainment events.

Over the past day, another record rate of coronavirus infection has been registered in Russia - 15,982 new cases. Due to the increase in the incidence of coronavirus in the regions, some restrictions are returned. In the Moscow region, entertainment events from 0:00 to 8:00 are already banned, including the work of bars, restaurants and nightclubs, as well as public events, with the exception of official ones. In Moscow, from October 19, an identification system will be launched for visitors to nightclubs, discos and bars.
