Andy Warhol exhibition of an unparalleled scale is being held at the New Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow.More than two hundred exhibits, the display area of 2500 square meters, interactive exhibits,installations, multimedia and first-person audio guides will get you immersed in the famous artist's world.
The exposition is truly unique. The curator of the project, Gianni Mercurio, has collected works for the exhibition in museums and private collections around the world. His aim was to show not just a part of Warhol's creativity, but the entirety of it.
The famous series "Marilyn", "Campbell's Soup Cans", "Mao" and others are presented in all their diversity. The variety of exhibits is also impressive: these are not only paintings, but, also wallpapers, which are pasted over several rooms. Also, visitors will be able to see the famous installation "Silver Clouds", and photographs taken by close friends of Warhol, visit his studio "Factory", a copy of which was recreated at the exhibition, and much more.
