Ivan Bunin Exhibition at the House of Russian Abroad

On October 29, the House of Russian Abroad opens an exhibition dedicated to the life and work of Russian classical poet Ivan Bunin outside Russia. For the first time, the emigre period of the writer's biography becomes the subject of a memorial exhibition.

During the years of emigration, Ivan Bunin created his main works. Without him – the Nobel Prize winner - not a single undertaking of the Russian diaspora could do. The exposition contains letters and photographs, copyrighted manuscripts and documents and even his cane left by him in Moscow. Many relics are on display for the first time.

“The key to this exhibition was unexpectedly his photograph, which appeared to us almost suddenly, although it is kept in our funds. Bunin signed the photo as follows: “With great love, Ivan Bunin ", - said the curator of the exhibition, Tatyana Marchenko.
