Chamber Performance Festival "Silver Lyre" Opens in St. Petersburg

The 11th International Chamber Performance Festival "Silver Lyre" kicked off in the Large Hall of the Petersburg Pholharmonics at 8 pm on October 30.

      The festival was opened with a performance by a youth chamber orchestra, created on the basis of Yuri Temirkanov's Symphony Orchestra. The compositions were performed by pianist Polina Osetinskaya.The conductor of the new chamber orchestra is Yaroslav Zaboyarkin.

Due to the pandemic, only Russian virtuosos will perform at the festival.

      The festival will run until November 6 All the concerts will be available on the website of the Philharmonic Society, as well as on YouTube.
