China Suspends Entry from Russia on Visas and Residence Permits

The Chinese authorities temporarily suspend entry from Russia on visas and residence permits   amid the pandemic, the PRC Embassy in Russia said. These measures will not apply to persons with diplomatic, service, courtesy and C category visas.

      Foreigners who urgently need to go to China can apply for visas at the diplomatic mission of the PRC in Russia. “In connection with the epidemic situation, we announce the temporary suspension of entry to China for persons with valid Chinese visas and residence permits, involving work, resolving personal issues and family reunification. Entry to China with visas issued after November 3 is allowed. In Russia, over the past day, 19,404 people infected with the coronavirus COVID-19 have been identified. The total number of infected reached 1,712,858.
