Christmas and New Year Festivities in the Krasnodar Territory will be Cancelled

The authorities of the Krasnodar Territory have canceled all mass Christmas and New Year festivities from late December to mid-January because of the threat of the spread of coronavirus infection. 

      The head of the region also clarified that on New Year's Eve, cafes and restaurants will only work until 00:00, without any extension of time.

      At the same time, food and farmer markets continue to operate normally on the days before  holidays. In particular, according to the governor, the work of the Christmas fairs will  be permitted with the compulsory observance of all sanitary standards and social distances.

      Earlier it was reported that the high alert regime in the Krasnodar Territory had been extended until 1 December 2020 due to the threat of coronavirus spread.
