Rosturizm has approved three new branded regional routes. They are developed in Karelia, Samara and Kemerovo regions.
Routes "Zhigulevskie weekend", "Kuzbass - fire in the heart" and "Grand tour" All Karelia" will receive the support of Rostourism in promotion.
The four-day route "Zhigulevskie weekend" includes a visit to the natural park "Samarskaya Luka" and the plant "AvtoVAZ", as well as tasting the unique Volga cuisine. Tourists will travel 430 km and see the main attractions of Samara and Togliatti.
The year-round four-day route "Kuzbass - Fire in the Heart" unites two main cities of Kuzbass - Kemerovo and Novokuznetsk, as well as the Sheregesh ski resort. Tourists will get acquainted with the history of the region, industrial sites, cultural attractions, nature and ethnics. In total, there are 50 objects on the route, including the Dostoevsky Museum, the Kedrovsky coal mine, Mount Karitshal - the cult place of the shamans of Gornaya Shoria. Tourists will be able to taste the ice cream made from coal, undergo a medical examination at a coal mine, and take part in master classes on cooking Shor cuisine dishes.
The All Karelia Grand Tour starts and ends in St. Petersburg. The length of the route in winter is 1,193 km, in summer - 1285 km. The difference in mileage is related to the list of objects of display: in the winter season there are 12 of them, in the summer - 14. The main tourist attractions on the route: the Ruskeala mountain park, the Kivach waterfall, the patrimony of the Karelian Father Frost, the ancient villages of Kindasovo and Kinerma.
